-IAYPThe International Award for Young People, a self-development programme commenced in our school from the year 2010. The programme equips the members with life skills, builds their confidence and engages them with their communities. The Award Programme comprises four sections: Service, Adventure, Skill and Recreation. Ms. Shraddha Singh, Award Leader (Pratap Vihar branch) received Special Meritorious Service Award (IAYP) for her dedicated support towards the Award Programme. The award was presented during the Annual Gold Award Ceremony at India International Centre, New Delhi by Chief Guest Mr. Abbas Ali Baig (Former member of Indian Cricket team) on 14th July 2016.

ISA -The International School Award is an accreditation scheme for curriculum-based international work in schools. School is a recipient of ISA award consecutively for the 3rd time (2018 – 2021). Working towards it gave pupils and teachers a new perspective on the world and the skills to work in a global economy. It also created links between teachers from other countries facilitating the sharing of best practices and the development of new skills.

Connecting Classrooms -Connecting Classrooms is a global education programme, which offers funding and resources for school partnerships, professional development for teachers and the opportunity to share best practices with colleagues in the UK and other countries. Working in various projects of Connecting Classrooms has equipped our students with deeper understanding of their rights and responsibilities as global citizens and skills to work in a global economy and to build a fairer, more sustainable world. Under this program and STEM study, Senior In-charge Mr. Ashish Mittal visited United Kingdom (U.K.) for 8 days in 2017 where he visited various cities of England such as Birmingham, London and Cambridge that was comprising the visits to Oxford University, Cambridge University, BETT Show 2017 etc.

Learning Tour to Finland -Principal of the school Ms. Renu Sharma visited Finland to understand the Education System of Finland and to have an overview of History and success factors of the Finnish Education System from 14th May to 21st May 2017. During her stay at Finland she visited the Teacher Education Department of The University of Helsinki with Professor Arto Kallioniemi – Ph.D. Department of Teacher Education and Finnish National Skills competition 2017. She visited some elementary and secondary schools too namely Carousel Nursery School and Nummin Elementary School in Helsinki & Puropelto Secondary School, Piikkio Comprehensive School and Kerttuli High School in Turku. She also got to meet the Indian Ambassador to Finland Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma during her visit to Finland.

ESOL -The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program improves the English skills by providing English language classes that suits our curricular needs along with supplementary cross-cultural educational programs that enhance communication among our diverse population. The school is running this program for the students of classes II to VIII under Starters, Movers and Flyers.

Generation UK – India Program -Generation UK – INDIA Mentoring Programme was designed by the British Council to build collaboration, engagement and trust between India and UK. Our school was part of the programme in 2015-16 and also in 2016-17 for the second consecutive time, two Teaching Assistants from UK were deputed to work at Indirapuram Public School, Pratap Vihar for two months. The Teaching Assistants, Ms. Shefali Bhagat and Ms. Louisse, were formally introduced in a grand induction programme held for all the visiting delegates at Hotel Lalit, Delhi on Tuesday, 12th July, 2016. Indirapuram Public school wishes the TAs happy experience and all the best.
